You have slightly inconvenienced a vengeful demon and that demon has laid the following curse, “ Whenever you pilot any type of vehicle you must be listening to music from only one particular group in order for the vehicle to work.” Since it was only slightly inconvenienced you get to pick the music maker you will be cursed to listen to in order to use a riding lawnmower or drive to work.

Who’s music do you listen to?

Ranger - Bob Marley the catalog of tunes is large and I don’t get offensively tired of hearing those tunes the way I do some other artists.

M3 - It doesn’t really matter here as I will be turning it down as low as the vengeful demon allows so that I can hear the car. Just to be safe I choose Mozart. I can enjoy that at high volume and still hear/feel what the car is doing.

That would drive me nuts, but I’d have to pick somebody who covered different styles over their career so there would be at least some variety and had a long enough career to have an extensive catalog . Something like the Boston  P ops orchestra would accomplish that but probably isn’t true to the question. I’d probably go with Eric Clapton since it would be a lot of blues but also some great rock and pop stuff and plenty of albums to sample from.

It depends on the type of driving. For example, IMO nothing beats rush hour like Abba.

The Isley Brothers. Huge catalog, decent stylistic range, extreme amounts of funk.

Camry: Taylor Swift

Miata: Gotta be Tatsuro Yamashita - get that ‘80s City Pop vibe cruising along on a summer evening with the top down. Cue up Silent Screamer for Mullholland or going into LA and Marmalade Goodbye when I’m just going on a drive along the beach/PCH .

High Valley, FGL* or Zac Brown**. Easy and I can listen pretty much in any situation.

* May get a bit repetitive since a lot of their music is party anthem stuff. Then again, I do like those.

** Requires me to drive into the nearest tree if “Overnight” comes on. Otherwise, decent variety and a style I like.

If we’re going for a genre rather than an artist though, I may pick classic rock over country (or pop-country, faux-country etc to cover my bases before the elitists get here)

Don’t bring up his personal history, this is about music; XXXTentacion. He has music for when I’m depressed and when I’m lit. Here’s “Off The Wall” with a Spit it Out sample by Slipknot.
